'Futurama' Takes Off 'Into the Wild Green Yonder' Date: 11/26/2008 |

The fourth of four direct-to-DVD Futurama features, Into the Wild Green Yonder, will street February 24th at $29.98, and $39.98 for the Blu-ray version. Although without the ultra-geek cred of the D&D connection of the last feature (see ?Futurama Movie?s D&D Connections?), the bonus features of this new disc also appeal. Special features include ??Louder! Louder!?: The Acting Technique of Penn Jillette,? ?Matt Groening and David X. Cohen in Space,? the ?How We Make Futurama So Good? docudrama, ?Bender?s Movie Theater Etiquette,? ?Zapp Brannigan?s Guide to Making Love at a Woman,? and much more. Other celebs contributing include Snoop Dogg, talk radio superstar Phil Hendrie, and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. The discs also include audio commentary tracks (available in Picture in Picture on the Blu-ray version) by Matt Groening, David X. Cohen, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, and writers and animators. |
