Villard Books, an imprint of Random House, will publish a graphic novel based on Platinum Studios' Unique, a three-issue comic book series written by Dean Motter and illustrated by Dennis Calero. Based on a concept created by Scott Rosenberg, Unique is the story of Jon Geoffries, who believes that he is schizophrenic until he gradually discovers that he actually seeing a parallel world and that he can move between the two worlds because he is one of the few people with no doppelganger in the second world. Platinum Studios is currently working with Walt Disney Pictures to adapt the Unique comic book series into a full-length feature film.
