Salon Magazine Looks at Death Note Date: 7/27/2007 |
| The online magazine Salon has posted a feature article on the Death Note manga. The author of the article, Douglas Wolk (an established comics critic who has written for Publisher's Weekly, the New York Times and the Washington Post) calls Death Note "fantastically addictive summer beach reading", but also highlights the depth of its characterization and the ways the story is framed by uniquely Japanese sensibilities. |
