Apanman Hair Salon Opens in Children's Museum in Japan Date: 6/11/2007 |
Bandai has opened the Anpanman Hair Salon for children in the Apanman Children's Museum in Yokohama, Japan. The salon uses the image of the Anpanman character, who is ironically even more hairless than Peanuts' Charlie Brown, and nonstop anime on playback to entertain and calm children who are primarily newborn to six years old. For the 4,500-yen (about US$37) haircut and 1,500-yen (US$12) setting of hair, the stylists use Apanman-themed hair combs, pins, and tiaras. Source: Jiji |
