New VOTOMS Video Series to Use Computer Graphics Date: 5/9/2007 |
| Veteran director Ryousuke Takahashi announced at the SF Seminar 2007 convention in Tokyo that his upcoming Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Pailsen Files video series will use computer graphics for the Armored Trooper robotic mecha. The 12-episode story will take place before the original 1983 VOTOMS television series. It deals with a pivotal operation after the protagonist Chirico's Red Shoulder Battalion had disbanded, but before the end of the war.
