3 Million Howl Viewers in Korea Date: 2/15/2005 |
| Laughing Boa, the Korean distributor for Howl's Moving Castle, has reported that during the movie's first 50 days of theatrical release in South Korea it has sold over 3 million tickets, surpassing Miyazaki's previous movie, Spirited Away, which sold 2 million tickets in the country. Despite being very close, Howl's Moving Castle is not expected to break Shrek's record of 3.2 million ticket sales to become the most popular animated film ever screened in South Korea. |
