New Clannad Manga to Publish in Comi Deji+ Magazine

Manga artist Rino Fujii (Lamune, Happiness!) announced that he will draw a new manga serialization of the visual novel software Clannad. The manga, titled Clannad: Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de, is based on an earlier print novel of the same name and will begin on June 21 in volume 8 of SoftBank Creative's Comi Deji+ magazine. Fujii has already done a six-page preview in the previous issue as well as an eight-page, one-shot Clannad piece in 2004. This new adaptation comes in the wake of the recent television and movie announcements, and after another Clannad serialization in Monthly Comic Rush.
