NTV to Offer Streaming Anime Date: 10/26/2005 |

NTV2 to Include 38,000 Hours of Live-Action and Anime Programming -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nippon Television Network has announced the launch of NTV2, an online streaming broadcast service. NTV2 will include 38,000 hours of material from NTV's catalog, including news, dramas, anime and other programing. The service launches at 1:25 AM of the October 27. As NTV is a co-producer and broadcaster of many Ghibli titles, it has been speculated that Ghibli titles might be available on the service (it would be the first time Ghibli titles were available streaming online), however NTV has not mentioned Ghibli in any of its announcements regarding NTV2. |
