IATV Appeals to Viewers Date: 10/17/2005 |
Requesting that Fans Contact their Cable Providers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About to go off the air in San Francisco, ImaginAsian TV (IATV) appealed to viewers last week to contact Comcast and request IATV as a part of the line-up. In a 12-hour period Comcast received close to 2000 phone calls and e-mail. IATV was so happy with the results that they are no longer focusing on Comcast in San Francisco, but are instead requesting that viewers (and would be viewers) contact their cable networks across the United States to request that IATV be added to the line-up. As for San Francisco, "iaTV has officially asked people to stop calling Comcast San Francisco, their message having been received loud and clear," a representative of IATV informed us today. In addition to other forms of Asian broadcasting, IATV carries numerous anime, a full list of which can be seen here. In mid November they will be adding NieA_7 to the lineup. IATV most recently became available to LA area residents via Time Warner Cable and will also be available in New York City in the near future. |
