Golden Boy Creator Directs Live Action Adaptation of his Longest Manga -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to Sponichi, Tatsuya Egawa will direct a live action adaptation of his erotic-comedy manga series, Tokyo University Story. His longest running manga series to date, Tokyo University Story combined elements from his two most successful creations, the Golden Boy manga (which becomes pornographic as of volume 2) and the popular kids manga, Magical Taruuto-kun. Egawa already has previous experience directing live-action movies, however his previous movies have all been pornographic in nature. While Tokyo University Story is expected to contain sexually-oriented material, it is not expected to be pornographic. Twenty-year-old swimsuit model turned actress Yoko Mitsuya will play the part of Haruka. |
