'X-Men: First Class' Sequel Has Matthew Vaughn Date: 1/31/2012 |

Matthew Vaughn has been signed to direct the sequel to X-Men: First Class, according to Deadline. Vaughn also directed the first in the series. Simon Kinberg, who?s listed as a producer on the first film, has been signed to write a script. Bryan Singer will be back as producer. X-Men: First Class did not open as strong as some of the other Marvel films (see ??X-Men: First Class? Hits Low End of Projections?), but held its audience well and showed its popularity in other ways (see ?'X-Men: First Class' is Most Pirated Film? and ?'X-Men: First Class' Leads Fall DVD Parade?). |
