Aronofsky?s 'The Wolverine' Not a Sequel Date: 11/17/2010 |

Darren Aronofsky, who?s directing the new Wolverine movie (see ?Aronofsky Near Deal on ?Wolvie 2??), has revealed that the film will be titled The Wolverine, and won?t be a sequel to the first, according to Hitfix (the first was titled X-Men Origins: Wolverine). Aronofsky described the film as a ?one-off.? The storyline takes the title character to Japan, where he trains to perfect his skills in the martial arts (see ?Wolverine 2 Script Done?). Production is expected to start in Japan early next year. |
