Bendis and Millar Do ?Death of Spider-Man? For Ultimates Date: 11/17/2010 |

Marvel has announced that Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Millar will write the stories for its ?Death of Spider-Man? event, a storyline starting in February in the Ultimate Comics universe. The storyline begins with a prelude in Ultimate Spider-Man #153, segues into Ultimate Avengers vs. New Ultimates #1 and continues in subsequent issues of both titles. Both books are rated T+ and retail for $3.99. Marvel says, ?In the Ultimate Universe, there are no rules.? We?re not sure what that means, but we do know this storyline will get a lot of attention and press. The ?Death of Spider-Man? titles for February are: Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #153 & #154 Written by Brian Michael Bendis Pencils & Cover by Sara Pichelli & David Lafuente Ultimate Avengers vs. New Ultimates #1 (of 6) Written by Mark Millar Pencils & Cover by Leinil Yu Variant Covers by Bryan Hitch and Frank Cho Marvel also revealed in its announcement that Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 1 has sold "well over" one million copies to date. |
