Motonori Kishi sentence reduced

On Thursday, The Tokyop High Court reduced the one-year prison sentence of Motonori Kishi to a 1.5 million yen fine.

Back in January, Motonori Kishi, the president of publishing company Shobunkan, was found guilty in a landmark criminal trial for distributing 20,000 copies of Misshitsu (Honey Room) to 16 stores in April 2002, which the court ruled to be indecent material containing graphic sex scenes.
