Alice Eve to Play Emma Frost In 'X-Men: First Class'

It looks like the stunning Alice Eve (She?s Out of My League) will play Emma Frost in Matthew Vaughn?s reboot of the X-Men film franchise, X-Men: First Class, which features a younger version of Professor Xavier?s mutant team than the one depicted in the first X-Men trilogy.

Created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, Emma Frost (aka The White Queen) first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #129 (January 1980). Known for her dry caustic wit, Emma Frost is a telepath who made the transition from one of the X-Men?s most dangerous foes to one of its key members.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the British born actress, who also auditioned for the role of Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger, is in final negotiations with Fox to star in X-Men: First Class. Eve will join a cast that includes Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Professor X (see ?Magneto Cast?).
