Disney Reports Second Quarter 2005 Earnings of $698 Million

The New York Times covers Disney's second quarter earnings announcement (free registration required), which reported a $698 million profit on $7.8 billion in revenue. The 30% rise in profit from the first quarter was attributed to increased home video sales, as well as higher prices and attendance at Disney's theme park in Florida.
