'Yu-Gi-Oh! Stardust Overdrive' Sneak Peaks Held at Official Tournament Stores Date: 10/1/2009 |

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced its fourth Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Sneak Peak event, which will feature the Stardust Overdrive booster set. The Stardust Overdrive boosters-only expansion (MSRP $3.99 per 9 card pack) will be released first at Official Tournament stores host Sneak Peak events. Retailers can choose to hold events on either October 31st or November 1st. The Stardust Overdrive boosters will be available nationwide in stores not hosting Sneak Peak events on November 17th. Retailers interested in participating in the Sneak Peak events can do so by going to the Konami Website and registering. Konami has created kits specifically for store owners hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Stardust Overdrive Sneak Peak event. The kits will be available starting on September 30th. Each kit, which is designed to support 16 players, contains 80 packs of Stardust Overdrive, as well as limited edition Ultra Rare cards for each participants?while supplies last. The kit also includes a Stardust Overdrive Game Mat and a Stardust Overdrive T-shirt for tournament prizes, plus an official letter with scorecard from Konami thanking each participant. The 100-card Stardust Overdrive boosters feature monsters from all three series of the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series, including many of the monsters used by and against the Dark Signers on current episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. Fans of the Dark Signers can collect more ?Earthbound Immortals? and ?Fortune Ladies,? and the newest monsters of the Signers, including Max Warrior and the Majestic Star Dragon. The 100-card series includes 48 commons (8 per pack), 20 rare cards (1 per pack), 14 super rare cards (1 per every 5 packs), and 10 ultra rare cards (1 per every 12 packs). |
