New Appleseed Movie and TV Series in the Works Date: 4/14/2005 |

John Woo to Produce Appleseed 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John Woo is taking an active, hands on role in the production of a sequel to the Appleseed movie, to be directed by Shinji Aramaki and released in the summer of 2006. The new movie will be completely 3DCG, in the same vein as the first one. Less information is available regarding a new 26-episode Appleseed TV series that Mainichi states is under development and will also be released in the summer of 2006. |
