Anime Expo: Blaine Convention Offer's Special "P.O.V." Freight Handling Service Date: 6/17/2009 |

Blaine Convention Services is making available a Privately-Owned Freight Handling service which will move freight from the loading dock to exhibitor's space during move-in and back to the loading dock at move-out. This ?POV? (Passenger Vehicles Only) service is limited to 400 lbs. of freight per pallet or less and has material size and vehicle limitations (Cards, Mini Vans, Small Trucks, SUV's, Vehicles That Are Larger Than 1/2-Ton capacity or Commercial Carriers Do Not Qualify). Each qualifying exhibitor will be allowed two pallet (3 1/2ft x 4ft each) loads per 10x10 booth space purchased. The charge for this service is $125.00 round trip. Freight that is too large or heavy for this service will be moved by Blaine Convention Services at the published material handling rates. Vehicles over 1/2-ton (rental trucks, trailers or bobtails) will not be unloaded under this cartload service. The vehicle must be unloaded at the designated dock of the exhibit hall. There must be two people with the vehicle being unloaded: one person to go with the materials to the exhibit space and one person to remove the vehicle from the receiving dock to a parking location. To expedite this ?POV? service, it is strongly recommended that exhibitors pre-order this service prior to arriving to the show site. To receive this service at show site, go to the Blaine Convention Services service desk in the exhibit hall prior to moving the vehicle to the receiving dock.
