Funimation Picks Up 'My Bride Is a Mermaid' For Later this Year Date: 2/20/2009 |
Funimation has acquired home entertainment, limited broadcast, and digital rights to the 2007 anime series My Bride Is a Mermaid, from Media Net. The company plans to release the series in two half season sets beginning later this year. The 26-episode series, directed by Seiji Kishi (Ragnorak the Animation) is a romantic comedy in which the hero must marry a mermaid and hopes to keep her secret.
