Tom and Jerry Feature From Warner Bros. Date: 1/22/2009 |

Warner Bros. will produce a Tom and Jerry CG feature, according to Variety. The film will tell the story of Tom and Jerry?s first meeting and the formation of their rivalry, with the pair getting lost in Chicago and having to work together to find their way home. The success of Alvin and the Chipmunks, which did $360 worldwide, is probably giving impetus for a feature starring the vintage Hanna Barbera characters. Tom and Jerry last starred in an animated feature, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, in 1992. Eric Gravning has been assigned as writer. |
